Finding the real Dribbles the Clown in Baldur's Gate 3 triggers one of the most memorable and gruesome scavenger hunts in Act 3. What begins as a festive visit to the Circus of the Last Days quickly turns into a bizarre investigation after an impostor reveals a sinister plot. To complete the quest for the necromancer ringmaster Lucretious, players must travel across Rivington and the Lower City to collect seven severed body parts.
Starting the Find Dribbles Quest in Rivington
The journey begins in the Circus of the Last Days, located near the entrance of Rivington in Act 3. Players must approach the main stage to watch Dribbles perform before a fight breaks out against a group of shapeshifters. After defeating the impostor, speak with Lucretious to officially receive the task of recovering the true clown's scattered remains.
The first piece is located nearby right inside the circus grounds. You can find Dribbles' severed hand sitting on a plate at Popper the Kobold's stall, which can be stolen using stealth or obtained through dialogue checks.
Locating the Remains in the Lower City
Finding the rest of Dribbles requires exploring cellars and hidden caves hidden beneath ordinary houses in the Lower City. Dribbles' torso is hidden in the cavern system beneath the Open Hand Temple after an encounter with shapeshifting bandits. Nearby, the severed torso and pelvis can be looted from corpses inside boarded-up properties near Sorcerous Sundries and Basilisk Gate.
Other pieces require exploring specific residences across the city streets. You can find the severed leg in the basement of Lavernica's House and the foot inside Rainforest's Home. Searching these crime scenes reveals a broader plot connected to the Bhaalist murders taking place throughout Baldur's Gate.
Finding the Head and Completing the Quest
The final and most difficult piece to locate is Dribbles' severed head. Players must venture deep into the sewers and reach the Undercity Ruins near the Temple of Bhaal to retrieve it. The head rests on a corpse located along the pathway leading toward the temple complex.
Once all seven body parts are gathered in your inventory, return to Rivington to speak with Lucretious. Handing over the remains completes the quest and rewards your party with powerful magical gloves.
